When fitted with MDM soft jaws, the Gamet Delta CR chuck offers hard-to-beat changoever times. Of one-piece design, MDM jaws are quickly and easily changed and clamped in the master jaw via a single-action, key-operated locking pin - to tolerances of 12 microns. This compares with the traditional time-consuming approach of having to remove/replace two/three socket cap screws for each individual top jaw. In addition, rather than basing workpiece location on the need to carefully locate the component in line with the appropriate jaw serration, with the MDM jaw the workpiece can only be located in one position - a simple process.
