The unique self-contained power chuck design facilitates ease of mounting to most types of turning machine. Pneumatic power is used to open the jaws and only a single 80 psi air supply is needed.

Flexibility, versatility and safety are keynotes of the design. Infinitely variable gripping for both external and internal workholding avoids distortion of fragile components.

The self-contained power chucks are available in chuck diameters of 80 mm, 100 mm, 130 mm, 190 mm, 220 mm, 260 mm and 315 mm.

The range of MicroCentric self-contained power chucks are of sliding jaw design having a built-in air cylinder. Air is supplied to the chuck either through a rotating air tube assembly or directly in the side of the chuck body for stationary applications. The chucks are operated by a manual or electronic air valve and an air filter/regulator unit.
